Austin Gontarski (6th Grd) purchased and accumulated 1,726 meals/snacks for the backpack program and an additional 280 food units for families; all were donated to the Food Bank, Catholic Social Services in Robertsdale. Austin used his own Christmas money, plus raised over $450 in cash to purchase some of the food. He also went door to door asking for food donations. We are proud of Austin, giving and helping others in our community. Helping Austin carry the items to the Food Back were classmates, Myles Davis and Jonah Daughtery.
The eighth graders collected donations during Friday’s Mass and throughout the day at St. Patrick Catholic. Donations will be sent to the Archdiocese of Mobile to help a small Catholic school in the Houston area. Thank you for opening your hearts and giving!
SPCS 6th graders with the Loose Change Wednesday money raised for BARC in March. This class sponsored the collection raising $198.92 as well as dog & cat food donations. BARC provides care to homeless animals in our area. Good Job 6th grade!

Many thanks to Ronald and Linda Davis, and grandson, Landon Purvis (7th grade), for building and donating handmade picnic tables to our school in memory of Sir Knight Roy C. Gaston (1923-2016), great grandfather of Landon. The sturdy pinewood tables will be well used by our students for many years to come.
