A beautiful day to have our 2018 Field Day games. The competition was good but the sportsmanship and teamwork were even better! Thank you to all those coming to support the students. Also, many thanks to the PTO volunteers, and all who helped with organizing the games, preparing snacks and drinks, keeping score, etc. It was a fun day for all!
What a creative way to make music! Mrs. Natasha Pratt is teaching 4th grade students how to play a unique musical instrument called Boomwackers. Each student is assigned a note and together, following the color-coded sheet music, the students create melodies and chords using these pitched pipes that are played by “whacking” the pipes against a surface. Pictured with Mrs. Pratt are Macy Smith, Sofie Basinger, Noah Mosley, and Brett Boykin.
