Sr. Margaret and Miska Dembowski attended the ASCD Conference in Anaheim, California last week. It is a national gathering of educators from every U. S. state. Congratulations to K5 students, Luke Terrell! Luke’s artwork placed 2nd and was showcased at the Festival of Flowers in March. Archbishop Rodi presented the awards in the “The Landscape Garden” on the campus of Providence Hospital.
First, second and third graders took a field trip to the rodeo! Students enjoyed watching their fellow classmate, Emalie Holcomb, participate! Great job, Emalie!
Students had lots of fun celebrating Dr. Seuss! Each day of the week had a theme; Monday - Silly Socks, Tuesday - Stuffed Animal Pet Parade, Wednesday - Crazy Hair, Thursday - Green Eggs & Ham/Pancake Breakfast, Friday - Character Parade!

Students, faculty, and staff attended Mass on Ash Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Father Jim explained the meaning and purpose of the Lenten season; all received ashes.
