Another Fall Fun Fest is now in the books! What wonderful support we have here at St. Patrick Catholic! With the help of parents and friends volunteering, the festival was a success. Great food, fun games, and even better fellowship was had by all. Thank you for your continued support. We are blessed!
THANK YOU to the Knights of Columbus for the recent Golf Tournament & Helicopter Golfball Drop at Craft Farms Golf Course. All proceeds benefit St. Patrick and St. Benedict Catholic Schools. Our PreK3 won the Pizza Party for selling the most Helicopter tickets! We are proud of them! Sincerest thanks to all our supporters. Sr. Margaret was a spectator, while Fr. Jim participated! He missed a hole-in-one by inches!
A spectacular day for the annual Blessing of the Pets at St. Patrick Catholic! On October 4th, we celebrated the Blessing of the Pets with Father William James; the feast day for St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Fr. James blessed the pets, and photos of the pets, for students, families, and friends who gathered on campus for this event.
Our librarian, Mrs. Alison Slaughter, hosted the Scholastic Book Fair with the help of a few awesome volunteers! The students enjoyed shopping for books, puzzles, posters, and more. All funds from the book fair go towards the purchase of new books, magazine subscriptions, and library supplies for the St. Patrick Catholic Library.
This month our “Loose Change Wednesday” collection goes to Carlin’s Courage Foundation, helping to find a cure for childhood cancer. Our middle school students work together collecting loose change donations every Wednesday in the morning car line and from each classroom. Everyone is looking forward to presenting the donations to William and Alice Davis, parents of Carlin, who lost her battle with cancer and went home to God on September 17, 2013.
