Congratulations to the 5th grade at St. Patrick Catholic School in Robertsdale, winning 3rd Place in the 16th Annual Coastal Kids Quiz! The Coastal Kids Quiz is an annual competition for teams of 5th graders in Mobile and Baldwin Counties by The Alabama Coastal Foundation in conjunction with The Project CATE (Conservation Action Through Education). Throughout the school year, the team studies materials from various sources; science book, environmental brochures, environmental websites. The students learn about Alabama's rivers and streams, the environment, hurricanes, jubilees, oysters, blue crabs, shrimp, and the Gulf of Mexico. They also learn the importance of keeping our environment healthy for future generations. Mrs. Cote was also recognized and received a  Community Partner Award for her many years of participating in the CKQ program.
